The Systems and Information Engineering Laboratory (LabESI) concentrates its studies on methodologies and techniques for software development and the acquisition, representation, management, analysis and transformation of data, information and knowledge consumed or produced by computer systems. These studies are carried out both in theoretical and formal contexts and in practical and applied contexts. The Lab ESI is organized into five lines of research: Database, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Programming Languages, and Formal Methods.
